Chiropratic
“Look carefully at the spine to find the source of the disease”
Hippocrate
What is Chiropratic?
Chiropractic is a healthcare discipline that involves the chiropractic diagnosis, treatment and prevention of neuro-musculo-skeletal conditions through spinal and joint adjustments.
Chiropractic adjustment, practiced mainly with the hands, is used to eliminate interference from the nervous system and to restore the optimal functioning of the human body’s physiology. It focuses on the body’s inherent ability to maintain health without drugs or surgery (homeostasis). Chiropractic “focuses on the relationship between structure (primarily the spine) and function as coordinated by the nervous system.”
Basics of Chiropractic
The nervous system is the principal responsible for sending, receiving and processing nerve impulses that pass through the nerves to the brain, which in turn allows the body to perform its movements, reactions and sensations. Its role is to direct all the muscles of the body, to process the sensory information received and to regulate the functioning of the organs.
Chiropractic is therefore based on the premise that interference with the circulation of nerve impulses, which feed every cell, tissue and system in the human body, can cause health problems. Restoring the normal flow of nerve impulses through chiropractic care will allow the human body to use its capacity for recovery, healing and recovery in an optimal way..
